So a little update about our current position with things.
Our 5 weeks of vegetarianism has come and passed.
It was a good experience, and we tried a lot of new things.
For example I tried tofu for the first time when we went to Life Alive in Salem,
and both Dave and I tried a lot of the substitute meats, and quinoa for the first time as well.
We also made a habit of drinking soy/almond milk instead of cow milk.
The first day we had the opportunity to eat meat again, we did.
But we've come to the agreement that we enjoyed the diet,
so we will continue to prepare meals the same way as we were.
However, we will not be reduced to the vegetarian diet.
If we choose to eat meat, we will. It just won't be frequently.
So pretty much, if we want it, we can eat it.
But our diet for the most part will continue to be vegetarian.
Also, I painted this.
But there wasn't really anything to write about it,
so I didn't think it was very worthy of a separate post.
So I'm just going to throw it in with this.
Also, Dave's still working hard on his book.
So again, if anyone has the time,
or ability to draw any of his book characters to help him out with his writing.
Check out his character sheets on http://www.androsbook.webs.com/
Upcoming posts may include, but aren't limited to:
- Adventures Strawberry Picking
- Strawberry Shortcake (Recipe)
- Maybe, Strawberry Smoothie (Recipe)
- Maybe, Strawberry Preserve (Recipe & Techniques)
- Maybe, Some sort of Strawberry Pastry (Recipe)
None the less, it will be filled with strawberry goodness!
